• Full-time, 2nd Shift: 2:15 PM – 11:00 PM, Sunday – Wednesday (70 hours bi-weekly), regular days off:
  Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Flexibility to meet agency needs; may be required to travel between locations.
• Full-time, 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:45 PM, Sunday – Wednesday (70 hours bi-weekly), regular days off:
  Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
• Part‑time, 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:45 PM, Friday, Saturday (35 hours bi‑weekly), regular days off:
  Sunday – Thursday.
• Part‑time, 2nd Shift: 2:15 PM – 11:00 PM, Thursday, Friday (35 hours bi‑weekly), regular days off:
  Saturday – Wednesday.
• Second/Third shift employees receive a yearly retention bonus of $600, paid in July and December, after one year of service.

• Assist physicians and registered nurses in providing comprehensive care.
• Administer medications and treatments, including insulin injections, intravenous medications, and nutritional support via G‑tube or J‑tube.
• Document medication orders and patient status using appropriate forms.
• Perform narcotic counts, pediatric casts, Foley catheterization, enemas, suppositories, and other simple nursing treatments.
• Monitor and chart vital signs, temperature, pulse, respiration, and behavior changes.
• Ensure proper use of restraints and safety protocols.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid when necessary.
• Drive patients to appointments or outings as required.
• Serve as charge nurse or assist with shift supervision when needed.
• Support individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, including communication with non‑verbal patients.
• Maintain a safe and healthy living environment for residents.

• Knowledge of practical nursing specialties, bedside care, medication administration, infection control, nutrition, and medical/lab sciences.
• Interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to keep accurate records, lead staff, and perform basic nursing procedures.

• License or temporary permit to practice nursing in Connecticut, or a Multistate/Compact Licensed Practical Nurse license.

• Experience with individuals who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• Communication experience with non‑verbal individuals.
• Experience administering medication and nutrition via G‑tube, J‑tube, glucose monitoring, insulin administration, respiratory treatments, colostomy, cecostomy, urostomy, wound care, and catheterization.
• Experience supporting individuals with mild to severe challenging behaviors.
• Experience in staff supervision and providing operational direction.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word).
