Position Details
Position Title:
Parts Clerk
Department:

Reports To:
Plant Engineer
- Order parts.
- Check parts ordering log.
- Use Somax to purchase items.
- Issue purchase orders—must be priced first.
- If it's signed, it's ok to order or put out for quote.
- Use quotes for competitive pricing.
- Maintain spreadsheet to show pricing has been checked.
- Take receiving tickets and check them off as received in Somax.
- Take receiving tickets to front office and place in the "receiving tickets" book.
- Maintain a copy of the Oxidizer and freezer charts.
- Work on your feet for hours at a time, and in hot environments.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Other duties as given.
