HGV Mechanic

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs, vans, trucks, and trailers Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance checks Complete MOT preparation work and ensure vehicles meet DVSA standards Repair and replace defective parts and components Maintain accurate service and repair records Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health & safety regulations Work effectively both independently and as part of a team Support breakdown and emergency repair work when required

Required Experience:

Minimum 2 years relevant experience working as an HGV Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Technician Experience working on commercial vehicles including vans, trucks, and trailers Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities Good understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures Working Hours & Shift Pattern:
Average to 48 hour working week across shift patterns. Company Operational
