About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and efficient Logistics Administrator to support their operations in Kimberley . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth administrative functioning of the logistics department, managing documentation, coordinating shipments, and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with the logistics team, carriers, and internal departments to facilitate the efficient movement of goods. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent communication skills, and is adept at managing administrative tasks in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage all logistics documentation, including shipping orders, invoices, and customs forms.
  • Coordinate with transport providers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring efficient routing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all logistical activities and inventory levels.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments, suppliers, and customers regarding shipment status and logistics inquiries.
  • Assist in tracking shipments and resolving any logistical issues or delays.
  • Prepare regular reports on logistics activities, costs, and performance metrics.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Logistics Administrator or in a similar administrative role is required, ideally 2+ years.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel, and experience with logistics software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in the Kimberley office.
