About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Director to lead their HR functions and initiatives. This pivotal role will oversee all aspects of human capital management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and organizational development. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of HR best practices and employment law, capable of navigating a hybrid work environment with both remote strategic planning and on-site team engagement in Kimberley.

You will be instrumental in fostering a positive and productive workplace culture, attracting and retaining top talent, and ensuring compliance with all HR-related regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and values.
  • Oversee talent acquisition processes, including recruitment, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
  • Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Drive initiatives for employee development, training, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, maintaining accurate HR records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field;
    Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in all core HR functions, including talent management, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
  • Strong knowledge of South African labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, managing HR operations both remotely and on-site in Kimberley.
