About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and results-driven Pharmaceutical Business Development Manager to spearhead growth initiatives in the Northern Cape, based in or near Kimberley. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth for the company's pharmaceutical products and services. This role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
It's a high-impact position for a motivated professional looking to shape the future of our client's presence in Kimberley and the wider region.
- Identify and evaluate potential business development opportunities, including new markets, partnerships, and acquisitions.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales and growth targets.
- Negotiate and finalize agreements with partners, distributors, and clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare providers, and government bodies.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying and closing new business deals.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market landscape, including regulatory and commercial aspects.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory, including Kimberley.
