About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join their facility in Kimberley . This vital role ensures the continuous and safe operation of all electrical systems and machinery within the plant. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical equipment, control systems, and power distribution. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in an industrial setting, a strong understanding of electrical safety, and excellent diagnostic capabilities.

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical equipment, including motors, controllers, and PLCs.
• Diagnose electrical issues using test equipment and interpret schematics to identify faults.
• Install, wire, and commission new electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards, codes, and regulations.
• Respond to electrical emergencies and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.

• Certified Electrician with proven industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, control panels, and automation.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail regarding electrical safety.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a valid driver's license for local travel within Kimberley if needed.
