About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and certified Lift and Elevator Technician to join their specialized team in Kimberley . This role is vital for the safe installation, maintenance, and repair of vertical transportation systems in various buildings. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of lifts and elevators, adhering to stringent industry regulations and standards. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, safety-conscious, and committed to providing high-quality service to clients throughout the Northern Cape .

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair lifts and elevators according to technical specifications and safety codes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using specialized testing equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth and safe operation of lifts and elevators.
• Ensure all work complies with national safety standards and elevator codes.
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency breakdowns.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.

• Proven experience as a Lift or Elevator Technician .
• Certification or trade qualification in lift and elevator mechanics is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems specific to vertical transportation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
• A valid South African driver's license and ability to travel within Kimberley .
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety protocols.
