Crane Engineering Sales Inc is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support wholesale industrial fluid handling customers across the Midwest. In this role you'll field calls and emails, enter quotes and orders, coordinate deliveries, and resolve issues for pumps, valves, filtration, and process equipment. You'll work closely with sales, service, and technical teams to provide accurate information and timely solutions. Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding pumps, valves, and process equipment
- Process quotes, orders, and returns accurately in CRM/ERP systems
- Troubleshoot order, delivery, and billing issues and coordinate resolutions
- Partner with sales and service teams to support industrial and municipal projects
- Maintain product, pricing, and lead-time information for key accounts
- Document customer interactions and follow up to ensure satisfaction
- Support inside sales activities, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities
- Assist with preparation of proposals and technical documentation
Required Skills
- Customer service in B2
- B or industrial environment
- Order entry and management (ERP/CRM)
- Quoting and pricing for equipment or parts
- Basic understanding of pumps, valves, and process equipment
- Issue resolution and escalation
- Professional phone and email communication
- Data entry accuracy and attention to detail
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Coordinating with sales and service teams
- Time management in a fast-paced environment
