, a global leader in HVAC innovation. We are looking for a HVAC Sales Applications Engineer to plan, design, engineer, and estimate HVAC systems while maintaining and growing client relationships. This on‑site role serves the Rheem Midwest Distribution Division and may be located in Kimberly, Madison, Green Bay, or West Allis, WI.

- List and provide quotations for HVAC equipment processing for estimation of project completion
- Design HVAC system layouts for customers with a variety of building layouts and formats, independently or with team members
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to complete system layouts
- Provide design support, code assessment, and plan submittal within local, state, and federal codes and procedures
- Communicate with customers on projects, plan revisions, and submittals via phone, email, and in‑person while ensuring collaboration and problem‑solving
- Work closely with customers, partners, and colleagues to achieve deadlines while delivering a quality product
- Calculate heat gain/loss for residential and commercial applications
- Support HVAC contractors with installation questions or issues and follow up on jobs as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related program preferred
- 3+ years of experience as an HVAC applications designer or HVAC product engineer required
- State Certified HVAC Designer License preferred or willingness to become certified
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Experience with AutoCAD or equivalent program
- Prior HVAC project management or estimating experience preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC, building, and mechanical codes
- Detailed knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, equipment, and supplies
- Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines on each project
- Can work independently with minimal direction and delegate tasks when necessary
- Can build successful working relationships with customers, contractors, and co‑workers professionally
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
