Shipping and Receiving Lead

Crane Engineering Sales Inc is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations in our industrial fluid handling distribution environment. You will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, verify and document materials, and maintain accurate inventory for pumps, valves, filtration, and process equipment. This role leads by example on safety, quality, and efficiency while guiding warehouse staff and collaborating with sales and service teams to meet customer deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shipping and receiving operations for industrial equipment and parts
• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, scheduling, and documentation
• Inspect, verify, and record all incoming and outgoing materials and orders
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely
• Optimize warehouse layout, labeling, and material flow
• Train, guide, and support warehouse team members
• Collaborate with sales, service, and operations to meet customer deadlines
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
