What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Submit high volume electronic invoices via Bill Blast to client systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with internal departments and e‑billing vendor representatives to streamline billing processes
  • Review client Outside Counsel Guidelines and engagement letters to confirm proper billing setups
  • Investigate and resolve invoice rejections and compliance issues, coordinating with clients and vendors
  • Track and report aged invoices, facilitating resolution to move invoices to payment status
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; associate degree or equivalent experience accepted
  • Minimum of 3 years in a law firm billing or compliance role
  • Familiarity with e‑billing systems such as Bill Blast, Collaborati, Serengeti, Counsel Link, and Legal‑X
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and reporting
  • Experience with Aderant Expert or similar accounting/billing platforms
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Service‑oriented mindset with a focus on building effective working relationships
