Senior Accountant

Description

Thriving healthcare company is looking to hire a Senior Accountant with proven corporate accounting experience. As the Senior Accountant, you will prepare journal entries, track cash transactions, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, analyze and generate financial statements, maintain the general ledger, define variances, create annual budgets, and assist with the year-end audit process. The successful candidate for this role will have public accounting expertise, sharp analytical skills, excellent time management abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

How you will make an impact

- Implement revenue generating control systems

- Prepare financial reports/statements

- Complete month close general ledger activities

- Financial planning & analysis

- Corporate Bank Reconciliations

- Manage ERP Systems

- Perform account reconciliation

- Ensure compliance with GAAP

- Assist will annual forecasting

- Coordinate and assist other departments as needed

- Ad hoc projects

Requirements

The ideal Senior Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.

Other requirements for the Senior Accountant role include and are not limited to:

- 4+ years of corporate accounting experience (GAAP, Financial Reporting etc.)

- CPA required

- Public Accounting experience preferred

- Strong Excel: VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, and Pivot Tables

- Any ERP experience preferred
