Senior Accountant - Real Estate

Senior Accountant / Finance Manager - Up to $90k

Our client, a privately held REIT, is hiring a Senior Accountant / Finance Manager to oversee accounting, financial reporting, treasury management, budgeting, and operational finance activities across multiple entities. This is a highly visible role reporting directly to ownership and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

• Manage accounting and financial reporting for multiple operating companies and real estate investment entities
• Prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow reports, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and treasury management activities
• Coordinate with external accountants on tax filings, 1099 reporting, audits, and compliance matters
• Support investor reporting, partnership distributions, and ownership reporting requirements
• Monitor cash balances, funding needs, and intercompany transactions across entities
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and operational efficiency
• Assist with special projects, financial analysis, and strategic initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience
• Real estate accounting experience strongly preferred
