Position:
Administrative Assistant
As an Administrative Assistant, You will provide administrative support to an outpatient substance abuse counseling facility. A commitment to RHD values should be demonstrated as job duties are performed.

- Answer inbound calls for staff and route appropriately to extension or voicemail, or convey messages
- Field and address general calls and inquiries regarding services provided at Rise Above
- Greet arriving clients and complete appropriate check-in procedures
- Collect and record payments for services
- Schedule evaluation appointments
- Maintain and report group registration and attendance as needed
- Process evaluations and communicate status of evaluations with referral sources
- Complete other duties as assigned by management team
- Minimum of two years' experience in clerical or administrative work
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experienced with electronic health records preferred
- Bilingual speakers are highly encouraged to apply
- High School diploma or equivalent (required)
- Plan, organize and prioritize work in support of overall HR department goals, while paying close attention to detail.
- Demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior.
- Accurately follow verbal and written directions from executive management.
- Demonstrate skills in the areas of critical thinking, problem identification, and troubleshooting, while maintaining confidentiality when dealing with employee issues.
- Ability to remain flexible in the face of changing priorities and a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work effectively under the pressure of multiple deadlines.
- Demonstrate excellent time-management, problem-prevention, and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and company concerns.
- Demonstrate professional interpersonal skills, maintaining effective working relationships with a diverse workforce, team leaders, senior leadership, and community organizations.
- Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to a diverse audience.
- Knowledge of Human Resources laws and practices.
