We are growing our team and seeking a Client Support Specialist (Client Coordinator I) who is passionate about helping patients, detail-oriented, and eager to work in a supportive environment.
As a Client Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in assisting clients, providers, and our internal team with their medical supply needs. You’ll be the friendly and knowledgeable point of contact for patients, helping them reorder supplies, process insurance information, and ensure they receive the equipment they need.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients in identifying and ordering necessary equipment and supplies, including safe usage and maintenance instructions.
- Handle inbound calls for reorders, general questions, and provider support.
- Collect and enter insurance coverage information for verification.
- Confirm and process Proof of Delivery documents.
- Complete a set number of inbound and outbound calls daily (as directed by your manager).
- Answer client questions about products.
- Accurately process reorders, change orders, force-orders, and prescription changes.
- Manage exchanges, swaps, and exceptions with discretion.
- Explain insurance authorization processes and navigate Home Health episode billing situations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the client services team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to provide compassionate client support.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Comfortable using computer systems and electronic software.
- Ability to exercise mature judgment and problem-solving.
- Professional grooming and presentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years prior office experience.
- Prior knowledge of the medical field is a plus.
- Experience processing health insurance claims strongly preferred.
