Basic Qualifications

You will be responsible for developing system level artifacts and engaging with customers, mission partners, and other stakeholders to satisfy and fulfill customer directed objectives.

As a member of the Systems Engineering team you will:

• Perform in an accelerated, collaborative, dynamic small team environment, closely integrated with customers and contractors
• Ensure consistency of requirements and traceability back to customer objectives
• Develop the verification details for the requirements to ensure that the system is able to meet the requirements and support the execution of these verification activities
• Support the successful execution of program Interim Design Reviews
• Development of systems engineering documentation such as feature description documents, trade studies, Interface Control Documents.

Selected candidate must have an active TS security clearance for consideration.

This is a EARLY-MID CAREER (level
3) ROLE where candidates typically require 3+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.

• Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and proficiency with SysML and Cameo
• Experience with modern engineering practices such as Cross‑Functional Agile teams and Capability‑based planning
• Experience with Systems Engineering tools such as JIRA, and Confluence.
• Ability to interact with software developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied
• Ability to understand complex Space mission planning & execution concepts and algorithms necessary to command and control advanced Space Vehicles in multiple orbital regimes.
• Domain Experience and Understanding of Command and Control (C2), in one or more of these areas:
  Mission Management, Planning and Scheduling, Orbital Mechanics, SSA (Space Situational Awareness)
