Systems Engineer - Intern King of Prussia, PA

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in King of Prussia, PA is seeking a summer Intern Systems Engineer. This position requires a candidate with strong problem solving, technical writing, and communication skills focused on supporting United States Air Force and Navy software/systems engineering programs. The candidate will support systems engineering and test engineering task areas to include use case development, requirements analysis/management, data analysis, software testing developing test cases, identifying required test data, executing test cases, capturing discrepancy reports, communicating findings with software team, capturing and communicating test metrics, and supporting customer discrepancy out briefs.

The candidate must be able to work within a team environment under supervision from senior engineers. Work location will be in Valley Forge, PA.

• Pursuing a BS or MS degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with developing system requirements, interfaces, and architectures
• Familiarity with performing software and/or systems integration and testing of software applications in the integration lab including virtualized environments

• Requirements development, analysis and management
• Experience with software architectures, data flows, and use cases
• Software testing experience (test case writing/execution)

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
