Energy Project Developer

ABM Industries seeks an Energy Project Developer to identify, design, and deliver facility energy projects that reduce costs and improve efficiency. You will analyze building performance, develop scopes of work, create financial models, and prepare proposals for clients across commercial, education, healthcare, and aviation sectors. Partner with operations, engineering, and sales teams to manage projects from concept through handoff, coordinate contractors, and track savings.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop facility energy efficiency and sustainability projects
• Analyze building energy use and performance to uncover savings opportunities
• Create project scopes, budgets, and ROI models for client proposals
• Prepare and present technical and financial proposals to clients
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and sales teams on project design
• Support contractor/vendor selection and oversee implementation milestones
• Track project performance and verify energy savings against targets
• Ensure compliance with safety, code, and company standards on all projects
• Research utility incentives and rebates to optimize project economics
• Contribute to continuous improvement of ABM's energy solutions offerings
