Corporate Tax | U.S. Compliance & Provision | Team Leadership Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Tax Manager to own U.S. tax compliance and tax provision activities while leading and developing a high-performing tax team. This role offers meaningful visibility across the organization and the opportunity to partner closely with senior leadership on business-critical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities U.S. Tax Compliance & Reporting
  • Own and manage all U.S. federal, state, and local tax compliance
  • Oversee preparation and review of corporate income tax returns and related filings
  • Manage quarterly and annual tax provision process (ASC 740), including analysis of deferred taxes, uncertain tax positions, and effective tax rate drivers
  • Ensure accurate and timely tax reporting in coordination with Accounting and FP&A
Leadership & Team Development
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop tax staff
  • Establish clear processes, controls, and documentation standards
  • Drive continuous improvement within compliance and provision processes
  • Manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors
Strategic & Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Partner closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, transactions, and business expansion
  • Support tax planning strategies to optimize effective tax rate and cash taxes
  • Provide guidance on tax implications of new business initiatives and structural changes
  • Contribute to automation and systems improvements within the tax function
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)
  • 4+ years of progressive tax experience (public accounting and/or corporate)
  • Strong technical expertise in U.S. corporate tax compliance and ASC 740
  • Experience supervising or mentoring staff
  • Ability to communicate tax matters clearly to non-tax stakeholders
  • Experience in a global or multi-entity environment preferred
