ONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: Hybrid, expected on-site Thursdays

We are seeking a Security Analyst to support Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) compliance efforts and ensure alignment with applicable NERC reliability standards. This role plays a key part in developing, coordinating, tracking, and communicating compliance activities tied to federally mandated reliability and security requirements.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES- Work both independently and collaboratively to manage assignments involving the collection, organization, and analysis of documentation supporting CIP standards compliance.
- Review newly issued or updated standards, procedures, and policies to determine required changes for continued compliance.
- Partner with stakeholders to mitigate identified risks and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in routine compliance audits to ensure ongoing adherence to NERC CIP Reliability Standards.
- Help strengthen internal controls, particularly in areas where non-compliance could present significant operational, financial, or reputational risk.
- Support internal teams in designing processes, documentation, and reporting mechanisms that reinforce compliance efforts.
- Contribute to standards reviews and provide recommendations and guidance regarding NERC CIP requirements.
- Assist in preparing for regulatory audits, spot checks, and self-certification activities.
- Identify compliance issues by defining problems, gathering relevant information, evaluating facts, and developing well-supported conclusions to aid in investigative processes.
- Maintain compliance tracking systems, monitor audit progress, and manage documentation repositories.
- Minimum of five years of experience working with NERC CIP standards and related compliance requirements.
- At least five years of experience developing or overseeing implementation of detailed work instructions or procedural documentation.
- Prior experience supporting regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to peers and organizational leadership.
- Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking abilities, with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Proven experience identifying issues, analyzing data, evaluating solutions, and drawing sound conclusions within a compliance or investigative framework.
- Energy industry background preferred.
