Position Summary

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing, multi-location organization within a services-based industry operating across more than 45 locations in the United States. This consultant will manage the full accounts receivable cycle, support process improvements, and partner with cross-functional teams to enhance consistency and efficiency across decentralized operations.

This position is in King of Prussia, PA (Monday through Friday, primarily onsite with limited flexibility).

  • Process daily AR transactions, including invoicing, cash applications, credit memos, and reconciliations.
  • Manage payment batching, deposits, and bank postings for checks, ACH, credit cards, and financing transactions.
  • Oversee collections across multiple entities and reduce aging balances.
  • Analyze aging reports and escalated trends or at‑risk accounts.
  • Process customer refunds and resolve chargebacks.
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and support AR process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Treasury, and IT to improve systems and automation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounts receivable experience.
  • Experience in a multi‑entity or shared services environment preferred.
  • Contract‑to‑hire experience within high‑volume environments is a plus.
Skills and Job‑Specific Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of cash applications, collections, reconciliations, and aging analysis.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems.
  • Service Titan experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and XLOOKUPs.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage high‑volume workloads with strong attention to detail.
Travel Requirements

No travel will be required, unless at the client’s discretion.

Range

Solomon Edwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $30 – 33.65.
