Genesis Community Homes is looking for a Program Specialist to join our growing team!
In this role, youâll develop personâcentered programming, ensure highâquality service delivery, and partner with families, teams, and community agencies to help individuals thrive.
đ What Youâll Do- Develop individualized programming aligned with each personâs ISP
- Conduct assessments, quarterly reviews, and annual updates
- Maintain accurate, timely regulatory documentation
- Build strong, supportive relationships with up to 20 individuals
- Review daily documentation to ensure program effectiveness
- Lead annual ISP training for staff
- Support referrals, admissions, and meetâandâgreet processes
- Collaborate with families, guardians, and Support Coordinators
- Participate in audits, monitoring, ISP meetings, and incident management
- Strong understanding of ODP regulations and IDD services with relevant demonstrated work experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, HCSIS, and EIM
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Strong organization, problemâsolving, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Valid driverâs license
- Completion of 24 hours of annual training (ODP and GCH requirements)
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- đ Masterâs Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field
- 𧩠2 years working with Intellectual Disabilities, MH, and/or TBI populations
- đ 2 years experience in upper management
- đ Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field
- 𧩠4 years working with Intellectual Disabilities, MH, and/or TBI populations
- đ 2 years experience in upper management
