Wurzak Hotel Group is seeking an experienced and dedicated Rooms Operations Manager to join our exceptional team. In this dual role, you will oversee daily operations of the housekeeping and front office departments, serving as a key Rooms Division leader and second-in-command when on duty. You will be cross-trained to support both areas, ensuring operational efficiency, adherence to brand standards, and exceptional guest experiences.

Hospitality is a 24/7 industry. Operational demands may require flexibility in scheduling, including varied days, hours, and shifts as business needs dictate.

Rooms Operations Manager Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop housekeeping and front desk staff to maintain high performance and morale
  • Recruit, hire, and train team members; implement policies and standard operating procedures

Operations & Quality Control

  • Oversee daily operations of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
  • Conduct inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and brand standard compliance
  • Monitor inventory, coordinate procurement, and enforce safety regulations
  • Address guest feedback promptly to maintain exceptional service

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Support guest arrival, departure, and recovery processes
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and guest satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement operational enhancements
  • Stay abreast of hospitality trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Experience in hotel housekeeping management (Hilton brand experience a plus)
  • Strong leadership and management skills with ability to inspire diverse teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and property management systems
  • Knowledge of housekeeping, safety, and sanitation regulations and standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
