Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented Software Engineering Mgr with an active TS/SCI security clearance to work from either our Littleton, CO or King of Prussia, PA location(s). This is a new RF ground program. The Software Engineering Manager is responsible for:

• Ensuring the organization's staff is meeting all program and business commitments and to work with the Program Leadership team to drive Program Execution.

• Managing the staffing and resource allocation within the software domain. This includes recruiting and hiring candidates.

• Conducting performance evaluations, promotions, and career planning activities.

• Maintaining/updating Software Development Plans and Software SOPs. Ensuring that the Software team understands and follows plans and procedures.

• Serve as the control account manager (CAM) for the software activities, ensuring the software capabilities are completed on time, within budget, and meets quality, safety, and performance standards.

• Coordinates all software development activities for the program, ensures consistent application of software best practices, and ensuring correct task allocation and prioritization. This is an SR CAREER (level
5) ROLE where candidates typically require 8 years of professional experience and a BS degree. This position is contingent upon the program award expected in Q2, 2026. WHY JOIN US

Basic Qualifications:

• Demonstrated leadership skills and behaviors that align with the Full Spectrum Leadership Imperatives.

• Experience with planning and coordinating software development in a team-oriented environment.

• Knowledgeable in Software Engineering Process and Tools, including experience in executing Agile methodology.

• Experience across the Software Development Life Cycle
• Earned Value Management (EVM) / CAM (Control Account Management) understanding or experience and/or schedule management for engineering activities
