Here, you’ll work alongside other cyber security experts and military members to support their military operational objectives by providing them with a safe and secure operating environment. In this fast-paced, real-world environment, you’ll draw on all your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to keep these exquisite capabilities protected. We are looking for an individual to serve as a Classified Cyber Security Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and join our team’s efforts in supporting and defending classified networks.

Successful candidates should be knowledgeable of information technology security principles, various computer/network operating systems, and Microsoft suite of applications. This is a multi-tasking environment that demands customer service, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Direct and lead day-to-day security management for classified systems enforcing applicable standards such as NISP 800-53 and DAAG.
• Ensure required cybersecurity controls are implemented and validated, including continuous monitoring actions for assigned systems.
• Monitor and recognize non-compliance, suspicious and anomalous activity (i.e., threats), and report such activity and associated risks to appropriate parties.
• Ensure plans of action and milestones or remediation plans are in place for vulnerabilities identified during monitoring, audits, inspections, etc., and implement or oversee corrective actions.
• Monitor and correlate data (e.g., logs, events, activity) from sources (e.g., Splunk, ePO, ESS, ACAS) to identify and mitigate threats, vulnerabilities and non-compliance.
• Investigate, analyze and respond to cyber events, incidents and non-compliance, including trend analysis, assembling detailed written reports and briefing appropriate parties.
• Identify, implement, and enforce overall security requirements for the proper handling and storage of Government data and electronic media.
• Lead and conduct self-inspections and prepare for customer inspections. Communicate and interact professionally with assigned programs and customers. Primary security interface with the ability to present security status.
• Partner with program managers, engineers, acquisition personnel, and internal/external auditors to embed security controls early in the design and development phases.

• Demonstratable experience with standard cybersecurity and network environment tools and applications, including: SIEM, ESS, DLP, IAM, Vulnerability Scanning, etc.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and demanding environment.
