Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in King of Prussia, PA. Interested?

• Install and configure network devices (network printers, scanners, plotters, PCs).
• Troubleshoot problems with network printing and scanning devices.
• Perform data termination/activation in telecommunication closets, aka network connects (activation of data drops).
• Detailed knowledge of audio/videoconferencing standards.
• Repair and replace data connectors on network cables and data drops.
• Basic technical certification, hardware repair, component-level knowledge, operating system (Windows, Unix/Linux, Apple), application knowledge, troubleshooting techniques and physical capabilities to include lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Assist in the relocation of client employees to the facility (move PCs and activate data drops in the new location).
• Troubleshoot network issues with PCs and LAN (duplex mismatches, duplicate IPs, corrupt firewall software, proxy configuration issues).

Pay: $34.65/hour

Hours:

9x80 Monday-Thursday with every other Friday off.

Length:
Contract (12m+ with opportunity of extension.)

Required skills:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of experience with IT Networking, Troubleshooting, and Conference room support (VTCs).
• Minimum 3 years of experience with network, regarding the installation and configuration of network devices.

Preferred skills:

• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
