- Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022) functions, security policies, and technical safeguards.
- Experience with scripting and automation (Ansible, Perl, Bash, Power Shell, etc.).
- Fundamental understanding of the OSI model.
- Fundamental understanding of authentication mechanisms (Kerberos, LDAP, NTLM) and relevant troubleshooting tools.
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, SMTP, NFS, FTP, Telnet, SSH).
- VMware experience (vSphere, ESXi, KVM).
- Experience with Cisco switching technology.
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator or equivalent/higher.
- VMware Certified Professional.
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).
- Experience with audits of key IT components to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
- Experience with Power Shell scripting.
Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations (EO) seeks an experienced information technology (IT) professional to support the Space business area classified program areas in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. Deep expertise in technical leadership, Linux and Windows server, storage and network administration is essential to support these complex classified environments. The candidate must have a strong understanding of TCP/IP, IT security principles, cost estimating, proactive attitude, strong customer‑relationship management skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger technical team.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: designing, estimating, ordering, tracking, installing, configuring, securing, hardening, remediating, testing, upgrading, and decommissioning data‑center equipment, network switches, virtual servers, physical servers, client workstations, and network‑attached storage equipment. Application support to program engineers is an essential part of day‑to‑day duties, ensuring synergy between program deliverables and the underlying IT infrastructure.
The selected candidate will manage the ongoing operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of multiple classified IT program environments. This role ensures that Space IT systems are managed, controlled, and compliant with the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
This is a non‑telecommuting, on‑site position with a core 4 × 10 schedule (Tuesday‑Friday). Applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Priority consideration will be given to qualified candidates currently affiliated with the Enterprise Operations’ EBDT (Enterprise Business & Digital Transformation) organization.
