Paralegal

Liberty Personnel is working with a nationally know multi-state defense litigation law firm adding a Paralegal to their legal support team. You’ll be exposed to complex litigation cases supporting trial attorneys defending clients locally and nationally.

Candidates should have their Paralegal Certificate, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies and 3+ years of related Paralegal and/or Legal Assistant experience. Defense litigation experience is highly preferred.

Summary:

The Paralegal will support attorneys by performing a variety of legal tasks, including legal research, document preparation, and case management.

Responsibilities:

• Support litigation from commencement through trial
• Filing & Documentation
• Legal Research & Analysis
• Legal Document Preparation
• Case Management for multiple attorneys
• Discovery review and summarization
• Client Communication status updates.
• Ensure procedures of PA, NJ and Federal Court are followed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of paralegal experience, preference on defense litigation.
• Certificate, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field is required.
• Paralegal Certification is preferred.
• Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in legal research databases and MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and attorneys.
