Complex Chief Engineer – Sheraton & Element Valley Forge

Join Wurzak Hotel Group as a Complex Chief Engineer overseeing the HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life‑safety systems for the Sheraton and Element Valley Forge hotels in King of Prussia, PA. This leadership role directly impacts the guest experience, team performance, and the long‑term success of two exceptional hotels.

• Leading and executing all maintenance operations across both hotels – HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life‑safety systems
• Managing and mentoring an engineering team while promoting a strong safety‑first, service‑focused culture
• Conducting regular preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure brand standards and compliance with all codes and regulations
• Quickly and professionally responding to service requests, emergencies, and guest concerns
• Reviewing, approving, and managing parts, tools, and purchase orders to stay ahead of maintenance needs
• Collaborating with hotel leadership to plan and prioritize long‑term facility upgrades and capital improvements
• Maintaining detailed logs and documentation of maintenance activity
• Ensuring a spotless and efficient operation that guests don’t even notice – because everything just works

• High school diploma or GED required; formal training in building maintenance or trades preferred
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in hotel or commercial facility maintenance
• Hospitality experience is a must – you understand how your work supports the guest experience
• Proven leadership experience in team management or departmental oversight
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, electrical controls, plumbing, and preventative maintenance programs
• HVAC and EPA Recovery Certifications are a big plus
• Someone flexible, solutions‑oriented, and calm under pressure – this is a 24/7 operation
