Warehouse Director​/Manager

A rapidly growing, technology-driven organization is seeking a Director of Warehouse Operations to lead a high-volume distribution environment supporting nationwide fulfillment.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who combines strong people management with modern, tech-forward operational thinking.

What Youll Own

• Lead and develop warehouse managers, supervisors, and frontline teams
• Drive performance, accountability, and engagement across shifts
• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping
• Implement and optimize WMS, inventory systems, and reporting tools
• Use data and dashboards to improve productivity, accuracy, and throughput
• Partner closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Operations leadership
• Identify bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Build scalable processes as volume and complexity grow
• Ensure safety, compliance, and operational discipline

What Were Looking For

• 7+ years of warehouse or distribution leadership experience
• Proven people manager with experience leading managers (not just individual contributors)
• Strong operational instincts paired with tech savviness
• Experience working with WMS, ERPs, scanners, and real-time inventory systems
• Comfortable using data to coach teams and drive decisions
• Calm, steady leadership style in fast-paced environments
• High integrity, accountability, and ownership mindset

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience in tech-enabled, high-SKU, or fast-turn environments
• Background in scaling or turnaround operations
• Exposure to automation, process engineering, or warehouse optimization projects
