Our client, a rapidly growing, private equity–backed home services platform is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead AR operations within a high-volume, fast-paced shared services environment in King of Prussia, PA. This is a 100% in-office position.
Over the past seven years, this organization has scaled from 100 employees to 3,000+ across 50 operating entities in 15 states through strategic acquisitions. With continued growth and operational investment underway, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on process improvement, team leadership, and working capital performance.
Position OverviewThis is a hands‑on leadership role overseeing a team of six AR associates. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with a proven ability to implement process improvements, establish KPIs, and drive accountability while remaining actively involved in day‑to‑day AR operations.

Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of six AR professionals
- Establish KPIs and performance standards
- Drive accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
- Support change management initiatives and foster a positive team culture
- Oversee invoice review, payment application, credits, reconciliations, dispute resolution, and customer refunds
- Ensure timely remittance posting and accurate reporting
- Manage high transaction volumes across 40+ locations
- Develop and execute structured collection strategies to reduce DSO
- Perform credit reviews and risk assessments
- Conduct root‑cause analysis on aging accounts and implement corrective actions
- Standardize and streamline AR procedures across multiple business units
- Identify and implement automation opportunities
- Serve as subject matter expert for Sage Intacct and Service Titan
- Prepare and present aging reports, DSO metrics, and cash forecasting insights
- Support month‑end close, reconciliations, and audit requests
- Communicate effectively with senior management and operational leaders
- Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting, Finance, or related field)
- 7+ years of AR or credit management experience
- Minimum 3+ years of direct team management experience
- Proven track record of process improvement and systems optimization
- Experience with Sage Intacct (or similar ERP) required; Service Titan experience preferred
- Strong Excel and reporting capabilities
- Demonstrated success leading in a fast‑paced, acquisition‑driven environment
- Effective communicator with strong leadership presence
