• Proficiency in operating and maintaining CNC milling and lathe machines, including vertical and horizontal types.
• Experience in machining parts or assemblies from various materials for prototype or low-volume production.
• Ability to create tool paths based on product data and engineering inputs.
• Skilled in writing CNC programs and reviewing technical documents to ensure production accuracy.
• Competence in selecting machinery and appropriate settings for differing tasks.
• Proficient in calculating and setting machining controls, such as speed and coolant flow.
• Capable of identifying product improvements in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Aptitude for performing machine maintenance and minor repairs when needed.
• Precision in using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
• Experience in adhering to 5S standards and completing work instructions.
• Ability to compute dimensions, tolerances, and set up machining equipment.
• A keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
