Summary

The Asset Protection Visual Security Officer is responsible for protecting customers, associates and company assets at the King of Prussia store. This part-time role provides a visible deterrent on the sales floor, monitors activity, and supports loss prevention investigations. The officer works with store management and local authorities as needed to maintain a safe shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visible presence on the sales floor to deter theft and ensure customer safety.
• Monitor CCTV and report suspicious activity to management.
• Conduct investigations, complete incident reports, and preserve evidence according to policy.
• Coordinate with store leadership and law enforcement when required.
• Assist with daily security procedures, including bag and receipt checks per store guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior retail loss prevention, security, or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Strong observational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to follow procedures for apprehensions and incident documentation.
