Pay Rate: $21.36 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):
  Familiarity with managing access control systems and issuing badges to ensure the safety and security of our facilities.
• Alarm Panel Experience (B202):
  Proficiency in monitoring and responding to alarm systems, ensuring prompt action in case of emergencies.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):
  Ability to navigate technology effectively, as our security operations rely on various software and digital tools.
• CPR Certification (B205):
  Certification in CPR is essential, as it equips you to respond effectively in medical emergencies.
• Customer Service Experience (B219):
  Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset are crucial for providing excellent service to our clients and visitors.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive site information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
