Pay Rate: $23.86 / Hour

Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License (C123): Candidates must hold a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements to facilitate transportation and mobility as required by the position.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management to ensure secure access to facilities.
  • Alarm Panel Experience (B202): Familiarity with alarm panel systems is required to maintain safety and security measures within the organization.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets, as these tools are essential for daily operations and communication.
  • CPR Certification (B205): A valid CPR certification is required to ensure the safety and well-being of employees and clients in emergency situations.
  • Customer Service Experience (B219): Candidates should possess relevant customer service experience to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.

What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, office areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site policies; document visitor activity, incidents, and irregular conditions through required reports and logs.
  • Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding observed conditions, policy concerns, and response activities.
Minimum Requirements
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
