Pay Rate: $23.86 / Hour
As part of our hiring process, we would like to remind you that an active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret Clearance is a requirement for this position. Verification of this clearance will be conducted as part of the pre-employment screening process. Candidates must demonstrate prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing employee and visitor access badges.
Job Schedule:
- Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and report access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and required logs while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- CPR Certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
