Dev Sec Ops Engineer - Level 2

Position Overview

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Software Engineer focused on full‑stack development, automation, and Dev Ops. The role involves designing and building software, pipelines, and automated tests for space domain clarity and mission‑critical systems.

• Generate and simulate operational level plans to explore potential defense strategies in future space warfare.
• Dynamically optimize terrestrial and space‑based sensors to provide comprehensive space domain awareness.
• Strategically optimize placement and maneuvering of constellations of satellites to satisfy evolving priorities.
• Build and maintain full‑stack solutions using JavaScript (front‑end) and Java (back‑end).
• Develop automated tests (unit, service, end‑to‑end) and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Leverage Git Lab, Kubernetes, Docker and other open‑source tools to automate deployments and operations.

• Experience with pipeline automation.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Software development experience.

• Experience with Ansible.
• Knowledge of Helm.
• Experience with ArgoCD.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen.
Clearance Level: TS/SCI.
