- Generating and simulating operational level plans to explore the art of the possible, how we could defend the ultimate high ground in a future space war
- Dynamically optimizing both terrestrial and space‑based sensors to provide comprehensive space domain awareness
- Strategically optimizing the placement and maneuvering of constellations of satellites to satisfy multiple, evolving priorities
- Recent experience in software development using JavaScript, Node.js, and Java for full‑stack development
- Recent JavaScript library experience with web‑based components (e.g., Lit, React, Angular)
- Experience with Git/Git Lab/Git Bash for software version control
- Experience with CI/CD – Deployment pipelines, automated build, and configuration tools
- Experience with application containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher, etc.) in a cloud environment (AWS/Azure/Openstack/Openshift)
- Experience working in an Agile development environment, using tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer science, computer engineering, other engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with software test best practices, including unit test, integration test, and end‑to‑end test
- US Citizenship
Required:
No clearance required to start but must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
- Experience with API design and development, such as RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of database management systems, such as Postgre
SQL or MySQL - Experience with microservices and microservice architecture
- Experience with Spring Boot or Quarkus for backend Java development
- Experience with LIT for JS front‑end
- Experience with HTML/CSS
- Experience with Helm charts for infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Familiarity with the Space Domain
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment
- Experience in running unit tests with Playwright and/or integration testing with Cucumber
- Experience working on large‑scale software projects with multiple teams and stakeholders
