WhoYou Are
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Staff Digital Signal Processing Software Engineer to join our team. At a level 5 this person would be considered an emerging authority with 7+ years of experience working with the following:
- Digital Signal Processing development
- C++ development and integration
- Software Defined Radios (SDRs)
- Agile / Scrum methodology
- Integrate and test various parts of our system that implement transmitter and receiver designs for diverse mission solutions across a wide array of domains including communications, telecom, electronic, and sensor systems.
- Enhance waveforms to increase resiliency to real world conditions, algorithm performance, compute efficiency, and probability of detect & decode.
- Develop, debug, and test across several C and C++ code bases.
- Design and architect new waveform approaches and logic.
This position does not require a security clearance to start but will require the candidate to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
Basic Qualifications- Generally has 8+ years of related experience and may have a post‑secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of signal processing/algorithm, electronic warfare, or Radio Frequency technology development.
- Professional experience with C or C++ programming language.
- Knowledge of modern Dev Ops tools and practices, including Continuous Integration (CI) environments and pipelines, Git, CMake, or modern development IDEs.
- Software development experience with Real‑Time Operating System (RTOS)/embedded systems.
- Working knowledge of FPGA design and implementation.
- Experience working with commercial and/or military communications waveforms.
- Working knowledge of SDR frameworks and experience modifying & deploying SDR codebases.
- Experience working with open architecture communication (VICTORY/MORA standards).
- Developing in a Linux environment (Real‑time kernel experience a plus).
This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: TS/SCI.
