The Lockheed Martin Artificial Intelligence Center (LAIC) is seeking a Software Engineer for the STAR.OS portfolio. The role involves developing AI-powered software, participating in system development lifecycle, and leading technical projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop software products implementing AI for customer solutions
Participate in requirements generation, system design, implementation, integration, and flight test
Work on proof of concepts, prototypes, demonstrators, and production transition
Apply object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
Utilize concurrency (threaded and multi-processing) and I/O (block storage, network, database)
Assume technical lead and mentor junior engineers

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Experience with JavaScript OR Type Script
Experience with Angular OR React OR Node
Strong Git understanding
Experience with Dev Ops Tools (Docker/Podman, Kubernetes/Helm, Git Lab/Git Hub/Jenkins CI/CD)
