This position is an opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. The candidate will become an active member of an established team supporting our EW line of business. The FSR will be hired under the premise that they will travel or deploy with the system, or as‑needed for “contingency” operations with little notice (~96 hrs). When not supporting contingency efforts, they will be in Valley Forge and will also periodically travel to our other site in Colorado for system training and familiarization with the operating unit and customer representatives.

The candidate will support multiple roles and duties daily. These duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Troubleshoot EW systems and associated assemblies, subassemblies, mechanical and electric system components for deficiencies and malfunctions.
  • Remove and replace faulty assemblies and subassemblies, perform system start‑up, calibration, and Health & Status checkouts.
  • Become cross‑trained in multiple functional areas to be able to perform Software, System Admin, and other Engineering tasks on the EW systems.
  • Assist in the installation and checkout of new EW systems worldwide. International and domestic travel requirements average 50‑75 % annually.
  • Perform Logistics & Sustainment tasks related to PHS&T, Property Management, Corrective and Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance Documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining the onsite Valley Forge systems and periodically travel to Colorado for system training and familiarization with the operating unit and customer representatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Willingness to support domestic and international travel. International travel will be to low, medium, and high‑risk security level countries with short notice (~96 hrs).
  • Demonstrated skills in electronic and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated skills following established maintenance and test procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and follow schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Must have a TS/SCI clearance to start with a valid U.S. driver’s license.
  • Proficient using MS Office software including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated skills using different test equipment including digital oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and signal generator.
DESIRED SKILLS
  • Previous field engineering experience in support of defense programs.
  • Working knowledge of EW principles.
  • Experience operating and maintaining EW systems.
  • Previous military experience performing operation, repair and upkeep on radar platforms.
  • Understanding of Unix/Linux operating system in the areas of file system navigation and commands.
SECURITY CLEARANCE STATEMENT

Ability to work remotely:
Onsite full‑time. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our paid time off benefits.

Schedule for this position: 4‑day 10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
