We invite you to join Lockheed Martin Rotary and Missions Systems (RMS) as a Senior Systems Engineer in our Strategic Spectrum Solutions team.
About the TeamThe team works on software defined radios, digital signal processing, GNSS constellation simulation, and signal transceivers, delivering design, development, integration, and test of systems.

Requirements- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with 5 years of professional experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience (or equivalent).
- Top Secret security clearance required prior to start.
- US citizenship.
- Experience developing system, hardware, and performance requirements.
- Experience performing software and/or systems integration and testing.
- Experience in test plan/procedure preparation and test execution.
- Experience effectively collaborating in a team environment.
- Experience developing system interfaces and architectures.
- Experience working within a System Development Life Cycle.
- Experience with PTC Creo, EPDM, Cameo Systems Modeler, JIRA, DOORS.
- Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., PTC Creo, CATIA, Solidworks).
- Agile experience (Product Owner, Scrum Master).
- Experience working with vendors and customers.
- Methodical approach to problem solving.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to vendors or test events.
- Contribute to design solutions addressing complex engineering problems across the full software cycle.
- Develop operational scenarios, system requirements, and architectures based on customer goals and contractual requirements.
- Incrementally develop product design and delivery optimization requirements, supporting software development and integration.
- Develop functional, architectural, and detailed designs, adding or updating functionality as needed.
- Manage key aspects of technical implementation, collaborating across disciplines to ensure consistency of parameters, interfaces, and assumptions, and interface with stakeholders to meet program goals.
- Orchestrate cross‑functional collaboration to share best practices and domain knowledge.
- Perform obsolescence analysis for current and future hardware solutions.
- Support operations and maintenance, including definition and communication of complete test, integration, and checkout plans for new capabilities.
- Analyze, test, and iterate technical requirements, user stories, and operations concepts, providing technical direction and clarification within the team.

LogisticsWork location:
Onsite full‑time at a Lockheed Martin facility.
Schedule:
4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
