Our Strategic Spectrum Solutions team works on design, development, integration, and testing of systems, with expertise in Software Defined Radios, digital signal processing, GNSS simulation, and signal transceivers.

You hold a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with at least five years of professional experience, or a master’s degree with over three years of experience, or provide equivalent education and experience. You currently hold a Top Secret clearance.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the creation of design solutions that address complex engineering problems across the full software cycle.
- Develop operational scenarios, system requirements, and architectures based on the customer’s goals and contractual requirements.
- Incrementally develop product design and delivery optimization requirements, supporting software development and integration activities.
- Develop functional, architectural, and detailed designs, adding or updating functionality based on operational scenarios and customer requirements.
- Manage key aspects of the technical implementation, collaborating across disciplines to ensure consistency of technical parameters, interfaces, and assumptions, and interfacing with stakeholders to meet program goals.
- Orchestrate cross‑functional collaboration to share best practices and domain knowledge.
- Perform obsolescence analysis for current and future hardware solutions.
- Support and guide operations and maintenance, including definition and communication of complete test, integration, and checkout plans for new capabilities.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to analyze, test, and iterate technical requirements, user stories, and operations concepts, providing technical direction and clarification within the team.
- Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of professional experience, or equivalent education and experience. Masters degree with three years of experience also acceptable.
- Top Secret security clearance required prior to start.
- Experience developing system, hardware, and performance requirements.
- Experience performing software and/or systems integration and testing.
- Experience preparing test plans and procedures, and executing tests.
- Strong collaboration skills within a team environment.
- Experience developing system interfaces and architectures.
- Experience working within a System Development Life Cycle.
- Proficiency in PTC Creo, EPDM, Cameo Systems Modeler, JIRA, DOORS.
- Experience with 3‑D modeling software (PTC Creo, CATIA, Solidworks).
- Agile experience (Product Owner, Scrum Master).
- Experience working with vendors and internal/external customers.
- Methodical approach to problem solving.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to vendors or test events.
This position requires a government security clearance and you must be a U.S. citizen.
Work Schedules & Onsite RequirementsThe role is onsite full‑time at a Lockheed Martin facility. Work schedule includes a 4‑day 10‑hour day cycle with three days off per week. Lockheed Martin offers flexible alternate work schedules and paid time off benefits.
