Requisition:
• Participate in the development of strategy and design of architectures for the analytics platforms (i.e. DW, ETL, and Reporting).
• Build new OLAP data model designs and ETL processes.
• Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and rollout system changes.
• Monitor DW & BI Applications to ensure customer defined expectations are met.
• Identify technical areas for improvement and present detailed business cases for improvements or new areas of opportunities.
• Independently design, code, and test major features, as well as work jointly with other team members to deliver complex changes.
• Work with external and internal teams to resolve infrastructure-related issues when developing integration modules.
• Partner with the business groups to evaluate and perform application development and/or business process change requests under minimal direction.
• Ensure optimal application performance and maintainability of assigned systems, thus enabling scalability and continuous updates from software vendors.
• Design and build extracts from various ERP systems.
• Coordinate with IT functional leads to understand business requirements.
• Design and develop a KPI framework that aligns to business goals.
• Minimum of 5 years Information Technology experience with a focus on ETL development within a Data Warehouse environment.
• Experience with Attunity Replicate a plus.
• 3+ years of development experience with a major ETL tool (i.e. SSIS, Data Stage, Informatica).
• 3+ year's technical knowledge in the areas of general SQL
-SQL LSQL dvance BTEG Scripts.
• Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS or similar database tools.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing or big data platform concepts like ETL best practices, dimensional modeling, and Semantic/reporting layer design.
• Strong understanding of Qlik View development.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
• Experience in working with vendors (onshore and offshore).
• Strong understanding of data governance/management concepts and practices.
• Experience working with Heath Care Validated Systems.
• Experience working in Data Warehouse environments managing terabytes of data and information.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms, and effectively interact with decision makers.
• Strong background in systems development, including an understanding of project management methodologies and the development lifecycle.
• Ability to translate conceptual requirements into technical implementation requirements.
• Prior experience in the Manufacturing Industry preferred.
