We're seeking a talented and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our fast-paced development effort and contribute to the success of a very challenging and rewarding mission.
In this position, you will:
* Collaborate with a team of software engineers to develop, enhance, and sustain satellite mission planning capabilities.
* Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications supporting mission planning and spacecraft operations.
* Implement software features and resolve defects in accordance with program requirements and software development best practices.
* Work closely with systems engineers, operators, and senior engineers to understand mission planning requirements and translate them into software solutions.
* Participate in software design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
* Support software integration, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
* Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, daily scrums, demonstrations, retrospectives, and release planning.
* Develop knowledge of satellite mission planning concepts, operational workflows, and mission planning algorithms.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
* Experience with software design, implementation, debugging, and testing using C#, Java, or similar object-oriented programming languages.
* Experience working in a collaborative software development environment.
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Desire to learn mission planning concepts and contribute to the development of operational mission software.
* Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
* Active TS/SCI security clearance with favorable polygraph adjudication and ability to maintain the required clearance. U.S. Citizenship required.

* Knowledge of satellite mission planning, spacecraft operations, or related space-domain applications.
* Knowledge of orbital mechanics, astrodynamics, or aerospace systems.
* Experience with modern software development tools, including Git, Git Lab, and CI/CD pipelines.
