• Generating and simulating operational level plans to explore the art of the possible, how we could defend the ultimate high ground in a future space war.
• Dynamically optimizing both terrestrial and space‑based sensors to provide comprehensive space domain awareness.
• Strategically optimizing the placement and maneuvering of constellations of satellites to satisfy multiple, evolving priorities.
• Leverage industry standard open‑source software solutions such as Git Lab, Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, and build automation‑first solutions; focus on building functional, secure, continuously delivered mission capability.
• Work as an engineer on an Agile Scrum Team to rapidly develop and deploy solutions for a complex space system following core engineering principles.

• Software development experience with object‑oriented programming languages such as Java and JavaScript.
• Experience developing software with CI/CD build tools (Git Lab, Jenkins).
• Experience working on large‑scale software projects with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with software test best practices: unit test, integration test, and end‑to‑end test.
• US Citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.

• Experience with Spring Boot or Quarkus for backend Java development.
• Experience with LIT for JS front‑end.
• Experience with Node.js/Express for hosting UIs.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with Helm charts for IaC.
• Experience with software version control tools, such as Git.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Strong time‑management skills enabling on‑time project delivery.
• Familiarity with the Space Domain.

This position requires a government security clearance. US Citizenship is required for consideration. Clearance level: TS/SCI.
