1st Shift Industrial Cleaner
Debbie's Staffing is looking for a 1st Shift Industrial Cleaner for our client located in Kingston, NC.
Hours: 6:30am-5:00pm Monday through Thursday. Must be able to work overtime as requested on Fridays.
Pay rate
: $14.75 per hour, Weekly Pay! Temp-to-Hire Opportunity!
Ensure that equipment is kept clean and free of dust build-up and tobacco products, including conveyor pans and covers. Performs cleaning duties to ensure cleaning standards are met and blended integrity is maintained in the warehouse.
Job Description:- Make cardboard boxes and lids as needed.
- Ensure empty containers are clean
- Works with pack out operator in filling containers.
- Ensure that equipment is kept clean and free of dust build-up, including conveyor pans and covers.
- Assist with blend changes to ensure clean cans and boxes are in place.
- Clean floors to reduce contamination risk and minimize product loss.
- Operates lifts to clean areas that are not accessible from the floor or catwalks.
- Clean process equipment as needed or required.
- Ensures that non-tobacco related material contamination of finished product is eliminated by good housekeeping, close observation of product.
- Comply with all ISO procedures implemented.
- Must be ok working with raw tobacco products.
- Any other duties as directed.
- Warehouse/Manufacturing experience required
- Must be able to stand/walk the entire shift
- Must be able to work in a tobacco facility
- Must be able to work in a dusty and non-climate-controlled facility
- Excellent attendance
- Heavy lifting up to 50 LBS.
- Must be able to stand/walk up to 10+ hours a day
