• Support and oversee repair within the Walmart facilities Refrigeration HVAC equipment team and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, and power tools.
• Utilize digital work order management system to receive and document repair activities for store associates.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart’s Refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently.

• 10 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large scale rack refrigeration experience.
• Type I, Type II, or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• Age 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.

• 8 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and an AAS in A/C and refrigeration.
• Completion of a 2‑year technical/vocational HVAC/R program or an associate’s of applied science in A/C and refrigeration.
• Excellent driving record.
• Prior experience with glycol and CO₂ systems.
