AC Corporation, A Crete United Company is looking for an Electrical Journeyman that will be onsite with our key customer and involved in the medium voltage, equipment service and inspection, repair and annual preventative maintenance of electrical systems.
Typical Duties
- Interpret specifications, blueprints and work orders
- Interpret and enforce company policies to include safety regulations
- Meet daily with facility management
- Maintain time records
- Work with other craft superintendents and project managers to accomplish projects
- Typical schedule is Monday through Friday; must be available for on call and work weekends and holidays as necessary
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of medium voltage experience
- Journeyman card in electrical field or an electrical license is preferred
- Ability to think critically and resolve problems
- Can communicate and give written instruction in a professional manner
- Comfortable with MS Office (EXCEL, Word, Outlook)
- Thorough understanding of safety requirements and OSHA guidelines
- Able to read and understand blueprints, sketches, labels, job site maps/directions, instruction manuals and written instructions accurately
- Must have valid driver's license and acceptable MVR.
